Database Administrator

Job Type: Full - Time
Work Timings: 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (PST)

The candidate must have the following Experience in SQL Server 2000/2005
*Fresh to 3 Years SQL Server 2000/2005 DBA
*Fresh to 3 Years Database Backups/Recovery experience
*Fresh to 3 Years SQL Server Installation and configuration experience
*Fresh to 3 Years Windows OS (2000/20003) Troubleshooting experience
*Fresh to 3 Years WINDOWS/SQL server performance monitoring experience

Required Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Job Description:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Implementing NT Security on all SQL servers and new NT servers along with creation of standard folders and shares
*Installing or creating any necessary databases on the new database servers and installs all necessary SQL support procedures
*Installation of new database objects at existing sites and TSG
*Write and perform SQL Conversions
*Monitoring disk space and memory usage
*Backup in house SQL databases
*Troubleshooting and assisting site with backup issues
*Troubleshoot SQL Maintenance Jobs
*Quarterly systems and security maintenance
*Troubleshoot database issues that arise during or after deployments
*Assist with server hardware planning and configuration for optimal system performance
