1. Senior Project Director (Quantitative) - Immediate Requirement
- Location – Dubai , , though regular travel to Pakistan may be required.
- Qualification – MBA Marketing or equivalent
- Experience – 6-8 years in an MR agency in a client facing role. Should have customized quantitative research experience (i.e. not retail audit) within a premier market research agency (i.e. Nielsen, Aftab, Oasis, MEMRB etc.) in a client facing role
- Job description – managing one of our key accounts and reporting to an SBU head. We work with a large FMCG company in Pakistan , t his person would be heading the team servicing t his account – will have 2-3 people reporting to him. Will be responsible for maintaining the high level of research delivery (mainly on brand tracking) and further strengthening the relationship by visiting the client in Pakistan for presentations etc. – should be confident in presenting to large audiences with senior marketing clients. Should have very good client servicing and account management skills coupled with strong analytical skills.
Package – between 15-17k AED per month, depending upon experience + usual benefits (annual ticket, medical insurance, annual bonus etc.)
Location: Dubai
2. Deputy Field Manager (Quantitative) – Immediate Requirement
- Location – Jeddah
- Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Fluency in English a must, knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage.
- Experience – 7-8 years in an MR agency in a field management role. Should have conducted large scale projects and have a good grasp of sampling methodologies, briefing supervisors and interviewers,
managing quotas, quality control etc.
- Job description – managing quantitative fieldwork in Saudi Arabia and reporting to Operations Manager, KSA. Will need to manage 3-4 Field Executives and teams of freelance supervisors and interviewers.
- Package – between 9-11k AED per month, depending upon experience + usual benefits (annual ticket, medical insurance, annual bonus etc.)
Project Director (Quantitative) – 2 positions– (Should have at least 4 years experience in customized quant research in a premier Market Research agency.
- Managing research projects from start to finish – i.e. writing proposal based on client’s brief, working out the financials, once the project gets commissioned designing (or overseeing the design of) the research instruments, briefing moderators/ content analysts/ DP etc. and finally analyzing the data and reporting to the client.
- Mentoring a team of 2-3 researchers. Some of the operational aspects above would be taken care of by the team, but the candidate would have to supervise
- Adding value to the work done by the team
- Managing the relationship with the client
- Being responsible for the collections of invoices etc.
Project Director (Qualitative) – 1 position. Same experience, but in Qualitative –
The JD would be the same for Qualitative and Quantitaive, the only difference will be in terms of the business stream.
Package would be between 14-15 k Dirhams per month all inclusive + benefits (annual ticket, medical insurance, performance based incentive, etc.).
Also, to enhance further on your discussion with any potential candidate, we should also try and highlight the greater ‘care’ that we show for our people in our Co., which may not always be obvious from an offer letter. For example, these are some differences highlighted between our competitor and us:
- Our Competitor does not allow you to claim conveyance or food if you are required to come to office on weekends/ holidays or if you are working late. Conveyance for clients meetings is at the employee’s expense i.e. cannot claim for taxi or petrol for going to client meetings. With us he can.
- Employees have to pay for medical insurance – for the employee, some part is contributed by the company, while for dependents, and employee has to bear the entire premium. We cover employee + dependents fully.
- Others, cost of 1 annual ticket is built into the package – we provide 1 annual ticker for self + dependents over and above the package
- Others does not provide life insurance for employees – our life insurance policy provides for 24 times monthly salary in the event of death
- Others does not provide parking cards to employees who come to office by car
- We have recently started providing Salik allowance for people who have to pass through Salik gates to come to office.
