Analyst Relations Assistant IT Marketing Agency (UK)

Location: Central London
We are an Integrated PR/Marketing agency working within the Technology sector. In recent years we have been awarded PR Week Number 1 Tech PR Consultancy 2006 and 2007 and also won PR/Marketing Campaign of the Year, UK Technology Innovation and Growth Awards 2007. Our clients include some of the world’s most significant technology brands.
Role:
To work with your team to implement high quality analyst relations programmes for our clients, and maintain excellent relationships with industry analysts

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with relevant industry analysts
• Support, and contribute to, the implementation of innovative and creative analyst relations plans for your clients
• Identify opportunities for coverage within analyst reports for clients
• Maintain analyst target lists and supporting information for clients, such as activity spreadsheet and analyst coverage.
• Monitor analyst firm press releases, announcements and relevant publications for opportunities for coverage for clients
• Monitor appropriate blogs and spot relevant opportunities for your clients to engage with social media

Provide a great service to your team and your clients
• Under the guidance of your manager, develop and maintain client relationships with allocated accounts
• Develop and maintain your understanding of your client’s business, their customers and the industry in which they operate
• Meet agreed deadlines and proactively manage expectations and delivery
• Prepare accurate briefing documentation for clients prior to briefings and events
• Prepare client reports that are accurate and timely
• Attend and contribute to work in progress calls and/or meetings
• Arrange analyst relations activities, such as briefings, events, report reviews, with guidance from accounts managers/ directors
• Arrange all logistical aspects of such activities, such as suitable timings for engagement, logistical details such as conference call details, room bookings etc. Ensure all relevant parties are informed
• Ensure all relevant actions/follow ups from any activities are carried out in a timely manner and meet client requirements.
• Know the right processes to follow to engage with the analysts and clients e.g. vendor relations processes, client contacts.

Personal development and team contribution
• Look to adopt and share best practice processes with your team and the PR teams
• Contribute to team forums with ideas and initiatives
• Your manager will work with you to define opportunities for development and help identify appropriate seminars and training courses to improve your skills

Requirements:
Degree/relevant qualification or Marketing agency experience
Administration experience
Interest/background in technology industry
