* Monitoring and laying in place procedures which allow for compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements, particularly under the Companies Acts including legal requirements on retention of documents; retaining the minimum set of records required for commercial reasons; ensuring that procedures are in place to allow adequate historical archive to be maintained.

Qualifications:

Law graduate from a University recognized by HEC, or member of the ICAP/ICMAP, or any recognized Institute of Secretaries.

Experience:

15 years post qualification experience of which at least 2 years of relevant experience, minimum age of 35 years.

Job Description:
This position has overall responsibility for the bank's financial operating results. It prepares, presents and interprets financial reports for management, Board of Directors and governmental authorities.

Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the:
· Asset/Liability management.
· Financial planning
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Profitability analysis and reporting
· Internal/external financial reporting
· Financial management support for all depts/units

1. Works with other executives from the bank to develop plans and implement programs to continuously improve performance.
2. Oversees the asset/liability management program for the bank. The CFO works closely with the bank¢s management to develop specific guidelines for asset/liability management.
3. He/She works closely with the COO and departmental heads to identify and drive appropriate growth strategy, financial analysis and due diligence to enable the Bank to reach its strategic goals.
4. He/She works closely with the Bank¢s external auditors and meets, as appropriate, with representatives from the Central Bank (DAB) and other regulatory authorities.
5. The CFO plans, directs and coordinates the implementation of effective accounting and financial administration policies, procedures and reports to ensure sound financial management and control of the Bank.
6. He/She prepares, presents and interprets financial reports to management, Board of Directors, shareholders and governmental authorities. He/she directs the preparation of all fiscal reporting, such as cost accounting, budgets, regulatory authorities and government reports.

Qualification:
Master degree in Accounting and Finance.
Minimum 10 years experience directly related to Accounting/Finance where at least 5 years must have been in managerial capacity (CFO position) in a commercial bank.
