Technical Lead (Product Development Team) [Job Code: TL–118] Karachi

Job Description:

The position of Technical Lead exists for supervising product development team and assisting Project Manager/VP for the successful completion of different modules of product. Technical lead will act as Architect for all the components of product. The position leads the development team in carrying out development of different modules of product, customization, patches etc. The position also facilitates the Project Manager or Consultant in the presales activities.

· Develop/Improve product architecture and play active role in it.
· Develop the product in accordance with schedules; ensure that all product development guidelines including quality control policies and standards are strictly observed during each stage of the development process.
· Coordinate and facilitate Project Manager, Product Analysts in the process of requirement gathering and customer requirement specification development.
· Conduct meetings with the product team and assist Project Manager in preparing and updating project plan on timely basis and subsequently during execution. He also shares knowledge and information with all Stakeholders using email, group meetings etc.
· Ensure that all coding and programming standards are followed by the product development team (s). Also facilitate coding team and take part in coding.
· Coordinate with the support function team and acts as a technical facilitator to resolve client’s system and product problems/issues.
· Maintain complete technical documentations for the entire product development cycle, user manuals.
· Provide coaching and guidance to the product development team and provide technical level leadership during all stages of the product development.
· Provide input to the concerned departments / individuals at the time of proposal development. Responsible to give technical input during the proposal development.
· Perform any other work, as assigned by the superiors.

Requirement:
· BS, BCS, MCS [[KU-DCS, FAST, GIK, SSUET, SZABIST]
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Broad knowledge of enterprise information technologies, such as: software engineering, design patterns and programming standards.
· Broad knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and programming concepts. such as: OOP and DB concepts, ASP.net, WEB Framework, ADO.NET 3.5, SQL, Dot NET & OLAP (BI) etc.
· Good command on Design Patterns and SOA.
· Excellent knowledge of Database Design & ORM
· Capability to move into new domain and quickly master technical environment.
· Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity effectively
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment
· Proven ability to communicate technology, ideas and information to all stakeholders.
