REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Masters Degree in Social-Sciences/Engineering for Manager & Dy. Manager Special Projects.
Bachelor/Masters degree in Telecom/Electrical Engineering for Engineers/Officers Special Projects.
Applicants must have at least 3 to 5 years working experience in project planning and implementation, preferably in the field of IT and Telecommunications, preferably with NGO&39;s and / or global donor agencies.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES;

Develop Special Projects including project indicators, monitoring mechanisms, work plans and an overall framework for project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
Identify/study Special Projects, prepare write-ups and present to the management and ultimately the Board.
Liaison and coordination with stakeholders including IT/Telecom Operators, Government and Non-Government Organizations and Local Governments/Communities.
Implement and execute ICT projects, preferably with NGO&39;s and / or global donor agencies.
Monitor project execution and project related activities.
Provide regular project progress reports to management.
Regular field visits to support on time implementation of the Monitoring & Implementation activities.
