PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Candidates should have Masters/ Bachelors degree in Food Tech/Chemical Engg/Dairy with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in Pilot lab operations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Developing innovative products and carrying out process development activities.
· Co-ordinate activities of Pilot Plant, schedule trial run, prepare project reports.
· Advising on equipment modification to enable process changes for new product development.
· Assessing technical reports and specifications, and maintaining appropriate records.
· Investigating problems and areas of desirable product development.
· Formulating and establishing product design and performance objectives, normally in consultation with other functions, including research, marketing and production.
· Conducting test protocols and procedures, and product evaluation.
· Writing technical reports and cost estimates, documenting development work, and implementing profit improvement programmes.
· Overseeing the integration of new products with other commercial areas, including brand development, sales strategy, quality assurance, legal, marketing and manufacturing.
