OMV (Pakistan) Exploration GmbH, with its head office in Islamabad, is a subsidiary of OMV AG. The Company has an active exploration program in Pakistan in different concession areas. OMV Pakistan is producing gas from its Miano and Sawan fields in districts Sukkur and Khairpur in Sindh.
Senior Production Engineer
Key Accountibilities:
• Lead production shift personnel at central plant and well sites to achieve sales gas volume and quality targets.
• Implement HSE policies, standards and procedures to ensure integrity of People, Environment, Assets and Reputation of the Company.
• Lead Plant production shift personnel in Rapid and Back up Emergency Response teams.
• Prepare, review and revise Operating Work Instructions and Procedures in line with standards and guidelines for safe and smooth plant operations.
• Work in close liaison with Maintenance Engineers to resolve plant problems, condition monitoring using SRCM techniques to improve plant availability and reliability.
• Assist Production Superintendent in annual budget preparation and follow-up.
• Appraise performance and carry out TNA of the shift personnel and prepare plans for development.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering or Equivalent
Experience:
• 08 to 10 years experience in Production Operations in Oil & Gas or Petro-chemical Industry with at least 5 years in supervisory capacity;
• Experience of operating: Gas turbines; Gas Engines and Diesel Engines; Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Compressors; Utilities e.g. CW, IA, FW, Nitrogen and Power Generation systems; CO2 removal system, preferably Membrane technology; Wellhead Surface facilities; PLC based instrumentation and controls
• Fully conversant with: PTW, CMMS (preferably Maximo) and HSE management systems; NEQS and ISO-14001 requirements; JSA and JHA concepts and practices; Risk Assessment; HAZOP/ HAZID techniques; Incidents reporting and investigations
• Conversant with ERP, RBI and RCM concepts
• Good computer skills with Proficiency in MS Office.
• Valid National driving license and Defensive Driving knowledge as the Field based personnel are expected to drive 4X4 vehicles during normal travelling from Plant to well sites as and when required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Good presentation skills.
• Rota based job (14 days ON followed by 14 days OFF)

Senior Electrical Engineer
Description:
The purpose of this position is to manage Plant Electrical Maintenance activities and co-ordinate with support functions to ensure delivery of on-spec sales gas in line with contractual nominations while maintaining safety & integrity of personnel and assets.
Key Accountibilities:
• Manage and Organize electrical maintenance activities to maximize plant availability so that sales gas volumes and quality targets are met.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and sources
• Organize/supervise and execute plant yearly turnarounds within budget and planned time.
• Implement HSE policies, standards and procedures to ensure that HSE objectives and targets are met
• Prepare and manage Electrical Maintenance budget to ensure expenses remain in line with business plan.
• Increase plant reliability, availability through implementation of CMMS, S-RCM and Engineering Change strategies, so that business plan objectives are met.
• Improve quality of electrical maintenance through in time preventive maintenance of equipments through proper planning with minimum of % repeat jobs and minimizing breakdowns
• Plan & organize Training Needs Analysis and develop electrical maintenance staff to ensure that their competencies and skills are improved.
• Prepare, update and review Job Plans, Work Instructions and Procedures for electrical maintenance so that up-to-date guidance and procedural coverage is available to all concerned.
Qualification:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years experience within the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical Industry with minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Work experience on MV/LV power generation & distribution systems, protection relays induction motors and motor control centers, UPS systems, PLC, VFD and battery banks, hazardous area classified equipment, etc.
• Should have knowledge of International Codes and Standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, etc., HSEQ systems such as Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, HAZOP, HAZID, etc.
• The individual should have leadership qualities and target oriented performance record.
