Chief Shipping & Excise Officer - Muzaffargarh

One of our Clients is looking for Chief Shipping & Excise Officer for the following role

Muzaffargarh - Pakistan

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
· Graduate with at least 10 years exposure in the relevant trait.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervision of the section for ensuring smooth & in-time completion of the job allocated to the section.
· Being the custodian of shipping software, making sure that all the checks & controls of the software are applied.
· Ensure that all the jobs are done in line with in-force Federal Excise, Customs & Sales-Tax Law applicable to the refineries in Pakistan & keeping good offices/ liaison with these departments.
· Ensure that all data and documents are accurate and trustworthy and are timely dispatched to all the stakeholders.
· Make sure that all requirements of IMS are being met during functioning of the section.
· Coordination with other sections/ departments/ divisions/ external customers for smooth working of the section.
· Ensure implementation of safety regulations and abide by all safety requirements.
· Knowledge of practices and procedures of POL Product accounting with expertise of use of ASTM Tables.
· Expert ion Federal Excise, customs and Sales Tax law applicable to the downstream Oil Industry
· Deep acquaintance with shipping and clearing activities
· Computer literate and comfortable in working in ERP software environment like SAP, JD etc.
