Company Secretary - Karachi

Company Secretary:
This is a senior level position that is primarily meant for handling regulatory matters of the Bank in compliance with SBP ’s regulations and litigation, recovery suits, loss cases, fraud and forgery matters, internal investigation and inquiry procedures. In details, the incumbent shall have to undertake the responsibilities that are not limited to the followings:

1- Drafting of agreements and banking documents
2- Branch licensing, branch premises lease documentation, annual branch expansion plan requirements
3- Advice and assistance on legal issues to Corporate and Retail Banking, IT, HR, Finance, CAD and Administration departments and Branches
4- Corporate actions, filing of forms and returns to SECP and SBP
5-Minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors, Board Sub-Committees and Shareholder meetings
6-Liaison with other departments on follow-up of matters arising out of Board meetings
7-Monitoring and supervision of regulatory compliance by all departments of the Bank
The right candidate for this position shall be an experienced banker with over 10 years of experience in the company secretariat affairs of any commercial bank in Pakistan . The candidate must be either a law graduate or a Chartered Accountant. The package shall depend on the candidate's potential and experience and will certainly be compatible with market standards.
