Position in Underwriting -IGI Insurance - Karachi

**The incumbent will be responsible for prudent Underwriting supporting premium growth and sustained improvement in profitability.
**Qualification: Engineering / Master's degree. Qualified AC1I (Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute).
**Experience: Minimum 7 years in a similar function with a reputable company.

Responsibilities:
**Prepare strategy, assess under-writing risk, co-insurance and enhance profitability. Improve underwriting; budgeting, planning and networking within the industry and with regulators.
**Competencies: Thorough knowledge of insurance including Underwriting, Re-insurance, Risk and Claims.
**Excellent communication skills, leadership and effective delegation, strong risk assessment and analytical skills. Should be confident, result oriented 1 a good team player.
