Security Manager - Islamabad

Job Description:
Regularly review security situation, analyze trend and impact on the programs and advice senior management accordingly.

Prepare, revise and implement security protocols.

Ensure implementation of country office policies and procedures and make recommendations to ensure security/safety of staff and property.

Travel to program sites and conduct periodic security audit, report on findings and advice on improvements.

Maintain an up to date security plan consistent with Save the Children standards and ensure that all staff is trained and is well familiar with its contents.

Regularly assess communication equipment needs and ensure that the necessary equipment is in place and is in proper working conditions.

Liaise with regional security specialist, Security Focal Person of all locations, relevant local authorities, UN agencies and foreign diplomatic missions and regularly share security updates.

Establish and maintain an incident tracking system and ensure proper and timely submission of incident reports.

Skills Required
Masters degree in social sciences or relevant discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
Interpersonal & Communication, analytical and computer skills.
Crisis management & Situational Analysis skills.
Report writing skills.
DPR / Contingency Planning Skills.
