Assistant Micro Credit Officer at Islamic Relief - Islamabad

Job Description:
* Programme introduction to identify potential borrowers
* Effective and strong credit appraisal ensuring credit reaches to right borrower (i.e. person who deserves and has potential to repay the loan)
* Strong recovery monitoring and follow-up
* Identification of possible potential clients by making field visits in the targeted community through meetings and door to door interactions
* Formation of local groups of clients for effective delivery of services as and when required.
* Follow-up visit to the community for monitoring the micro enterprises in order to check the progress, reputation or the general opinion of the community.
* Interview applicants and requests specified information for loan application;, background checks, reference checks, and appropriate credit documentation to evaluate loan applications;
* Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan; and corresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.
* The ACO is required to prepare his/her work plan of the activities on monthly, quarterly and annually basis as and when required.
* Accurate and timely processing of credit applications in accordance with lending policies and limits
* Establishing timely recovery follow up plan with clients
* Ensuring the incorporation of the Islamic tools of financing in the programme
* Assists community or potential borrowers with inquiries and information requests, and resolves complaints relating to loan products and services offered

Pursuing the delayed payments and ensuing that it should not go beyond due date (zero tolerance)
