IS Security Officer
Place of position: Head Office Karachi

Skills RequiredQualification:
Bachelors in Computer Science/MBA Major in MIS/IT

Professional Qualification:
Certification of CISM or CISSP is mandatory. CISA will be an added advantage.

Experience:
Preferably 10 years of IT experience in Financial Sector with minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security/IS Audit or related field. (Relaxable for female candidates).

Core Skills & Essentials to Meet Job Expectations:
• Implement, and maintain IS security setup of the Bank.
• Update all IS security policies and procedures, including those for end users, network procedures, and compliance of the regulatory authorities.
• Propagate security awareness among employees as per policy.
• Oversee enforcement of policies and procedures for system security administration.
• Ensure proper documentation of security related activities.
• Design/Manage and monitor the intrusion detection systems, firewall logs as well as monitoring reports.
• Interface with Internal and External Auditors and manage the open Data Security audit issues.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well versed with IT standards and Best Practices including ISO/IEC 27001 (ISO 17799), BS 25999, COBIT, Base II and ITIL
• Strong working knowledge of SBP regulations and related international laws.
• Ability to resolve conflicts between IT Security and Business Objectives.
• Excellent communication and good relationship management Skills.

NB: Candidates need to demonstrate above mandatory skills practically in Lab environment.
