Project Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Review & examine agreements/contracts related to engineering services and construction.
• Provide input on progress reports presented by engineering consultants with focus on change in orders and rate adjustments.
• Scrutinize the bills of consultants & contractors, recommend them for approval and process their bills for payment.
• Ensure deductibles, warranties, performance bonds, retentions etc. as per contract.
• Recommend strategies for resolution of disputes.
• Identify risks in new project proposals.

Skills Required• MBA - Finance / ACMA / CA - Inter
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the similar capacity preferably with well- renowned construction/consultant company.
• Good knowledge of standardized contract terms approved by Pakistan Engineering Council, PPRA Rules and requirements of Government Auditors.
• Good computer and interpersonal skills.
• Good command over English and report writing.
