Consultant (Budget & Accounts) Islamabad based

A Public Sector Organization invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position on Contract Basis with the following terms and conditions:

Qualification, Experience & Competencies Required

• Chartered Accountant having qualified from a reputable CA firm
• Minimum 8 years’ experience of managing and maintaining all aspects of accounting including preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements, financial analysis, preparing various reconciliations, getting external audits done, and preparing budgets in Oracle environment in a senior and responsible position equivalent to pay group 7 and above in the Government, or in a National? International Telecom Organization of repute in public or private sector
• The Consultant will be responsible for all activities mentioned above including preparation of reconciliations, detailed TOR of which can be obtained from Director HR by mailing to P0 Box No.2281, Islamabad
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of accounting process including preparing all kinds of journal entries
• Well versed with IFRS / IAS and International Auditing Standards
• Well versed with Companies Ordinance, 1984 and Income Tax Ordinance, 2008

Preference and relaxation in experience will be given to candidates having:

• Qualified CA from ICAEW
• Additional qualifications in Finance such as CFA, CPA, FCCA, FCMA, CIA, CISA, MS / Ph.D. in Accounting, Finance, Economics and / or Mathematics from a world renowned institution
• Regulatory experience
• Knowledge of Telecom Laws, policies etc.
• Other Corporate Laws
• Must have worked on and be proficient in the use of Oracle ERR
• Proficiency in the use of Computer, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point is essential

Age Limit (Maximum):
30-40 years by the last date of application submission

Location:
The position is based in Islamabad
