Sr. SOFTWARE ENGINEER – Service Delivery and Incident Management (SDIM)
Key Responsibilities
Work on different problematic areas of application for the identification actual reason of problem e.g.; declined transactions, campaign manager, card track generator, degraded performance, aborted end of day processes etc.
Proactive monitoring of application performance in every area
Trend analysis of application utilization in different areas
Based on trend analysis providing feedback to the development, Db or Network groups for fixing the issue or capacity planning
Compilation of different reports at central location for change recommendation
Work proactively in case of any emergency situation and engage required resources for rectification
In case priority 1 issue, open conference bridge and get all relevant stakeholders on it till the issue is resolved
Preparation of Reports
Daily Run Sheet all service e.g.; Execution of schedulers, Summary generation, Campaigns, Alerts, Schedule reports, Track files generations, Application response
Settlement and reconciliation with banks
Availabilit y of function for 24X7
Key Requirements
•BCS/MCS with 2-4 years experience
•Have experience in the testing/development of project or products. Gone through the project life cycle and having experience of writing or executing testing scenario or development and unit testing of the application. Working on online application will be a added advantage. He will able to guide junior resources for the completion task.
•He can be from QA or Development track.
Required Tools and Technologies
SQL, Database management tool like DB Visualizer, strong analytical skills, Test Scenario definition and execution, Debugging of application, problem identification skills.
